Meet Gresham City Councilwoman and 2022 reelection candidate Janine Gladfelter at the Dog Days of Summer community event. This FREE event is hosted by The City of Gresham and celebrates training day for police dogs!

Join the Gresham Police Department for the first Dog Days of Summer event on Saturday, Sept.17, from 11:00 am-2:00 pm in the back parking lot of Gresham City Hall. The Police Department, in partnership with law enforcement from around the region, will showcase the talents of our K-9 units. The community is invited to come out and view this special training session.

Tagg, the Gresham Police Department’s comfort dog, will be in attendance, along with our local friends from Guide Dogs for the Blind. Kids, families, and friendly, leashed dogs are welcome too.

The Gresham Police Department will sell K-9 unit stuffed animal replicas and Dog Days of Summer T-shirts, with all proceeds going directly to the Gresham Police Comfort Dog/Peer Support program.

Kona Ice will also be on site.
